Great product for the money June 3, 2008 Wooden (Midwest) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
We purchased this at a local Home Depot for $25. We cut the length of the shade 1/2" longer than the marking on the shade. This allowed us to fit the space of the arched window more precisely. We did not use the adhesive (not yet) as I have concerns about putting the adhesive on my oak trim. While making adjustments to the shade, the paper wrinkles, however, the wrinkles easily crease out with your fingers. I love this shade!! It fits nicely in the window and the acrylic center holder allows you to make adjustments in different spots to make the space between the shade and the wood more even. We cut the shade against a speed square with a sharp kitchen knife. I hope to put a sheer decorative fabric on this some day to give it a bit of color, but until then I am VERY HAPPY with this window shade.

I felt uneasy after we got our half round Glass window over the front door entry system... I wanted to have privacy at night, but enjoy the beautiful crystal glass by day...

Redi Arch 72-Inch Window Shade July 24, 2007 M. Pacifico 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This 72 inch shade is not a perfect fit for our window, which measures 72" x 18" at the highest point. After having some problems cutting a template, we are now ready to place the template over the opened shade and carefully place marks where we need to use scissors to cut the shade to its proper size. Finally, we will be able to control the sun that shines into the bedroom and keep the room cooler.
great solution for saving energy August 3, 2007 Grace Kannookadan (chicago usa) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Besides saving energy in the summertime by filtering the heat into the bedroom window, it is also helping to darken the room by filtering the light. This is a great solution for those who are looking for that darker rooms for sleeping in late. I say go for it . Great prodcut except for the material is papaer. Not sure how long it will last.
RediShade is economical solution July 30, 2009 A. Zwink 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased a RediShade, which is just a paper fan for all practical purposes, for a small window in an upstairs bedroom and immediately noticed the difference in temperature as the room faces West and was extremely hot during the afternoon hours. It was easy to cut to size using a box cutter, and easy to install with the adhesive backing already on the product.
I purchased this larger version for a dining room window (which also faces West) and again was relieved with the ease of installation and the immediate solution to a long-standing dilemma. It's not fancy or elegant in any way but very functional and the cost was perfect for my budget.
